We are seeking a motivated Sales Team Manager to provide leadership over the sales team and oversee business development, customer engagement, and operational processes as well as ensure the team is meeting expected sales quotas. The role contributes to office performance goals and supports long-term customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Leading and Managing Sales Agents Oversee a team of State Farm agents or representatives, guiding their daily activities and helping them achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Recruitment and Development Identify, recruit, and onboard new agents. Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to develop their sales skills and product knowledge.
- Sales Goal Setting and Achievement Set realistic sales targets aligned with State Farm’s business objectives and ensure the team meets or exceeds those goals.
- Performance Monitoring and Feedback Track individual agent performance metrics, analyze results, and provide constructive feedback to improve sales outcomes.
- Customer Relationship Support Support agents in managing client relationships to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
- Compliance and Ethical Standards Ensure that all sales activities comply with State Farm’s policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
- Collaboration with Corporate Teams Coordinate with State Farm’s corporate departments such as marketing, underwriting, and claims to support sales initiatives and customer service.
- Market and Competitor Analysis Stay informed about market trends, competitor products, and customer needs to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Resource Management Allocate and manage resources such as marketing materials, technology, and budgets to optimize sales efforts.
- Reporting and Communication Prepare regular reports on sales performance and communicate insights and updates to senior management.
- Problem Resolution Address and resolve any issues or challenges faced by the sales team or clients efficiently.
- Promoting Company Culture Foster a positive team environment that aligns with State Farm’s values and culture.
